This week we’re bringing you front and center to a live recipe demo with Cup4Cup co-founders Chef Lena Kwak and Chef Thomas Keller. Together they demonstrated their very own recipes using Cup4Cup’s gluten-free Multi-purpose Flour Blend, Pizza Crust Mix, Pancake & Waffle Mix and gluten and dairy free Brownie Mix. We may have to warn you, the images below may cause sudden mouth watering and cupcake cravings!

   

    

    

Tuesday’s demo took place at the Food and Wine Magazine test kitchen.  Using Cup4Cup’s gluten-free products, Chef Kwak demoed cheese and potato filled empanadas and Chef Keller prepared savory waffles with pizza-influenced toppings.

In addition to the recipe demos, there were a variety of scrumptious prepared dishes including pumpkin cupcakes, brownie mix cookies and cupcakes, salmon cornets and flatbread.

Demo day 2 occurred at Meredith Corporation, where the Cup4Cup co-founders demonstrated their recipes in the test kitchens for Ladies’ Home Journal, Every Day with Rachael Ray and Family Circle. Also in attendance were editors from Parents Magazine.

Chef Lena kicked off the event with lava cakes made with the gluten and dairy free brownie mix while Chef Thomas made ‘His Mother’s Pecan Sandies.’ As for the tasting recipes, we enjoyed some pumpkin cupcakes, chocolate earthquake cookies, brownies, salmon cornets and assorted crackers.

Overall it was a successful visit to NYC for California-based Cup4Cup team, and let’s just say our taste buds were very satisfied!
