Last week we invited the media to Per Se  for the launch of Thomas Keller and Lena Kwak’s newest additions to the Cup4Cup brand. Cup4Cup’s new Wholesome products include a gluten-free whole wheat flour, Cornbread Mix and Yellow Cake Mix.  These incredible chefs’ designed a menu to impress even the most knowledgeable culi-nerd on the incredible versatility of the line.

The editors started by sampling from the summer station. The treats included green tea cookie with sesame ice cream sandwiches, brownies with sweet tea icing, peach cobbler “coupes,” banana-caramel cupcakes and strawberry shortcake which showed off the new Yellow Cake Mix.

Editors then moved on to the holiday station which included: mincemeat pies, gingerbread men, carrot  whoopie pies with cream cheese frosting and spiced mallowmars.  The station also featured the new Cornbread recipe with warm corn “madeleines” and cheddar-corn muffins.

Specialty canapés were also served throughout the event including: Chicken and waffles, foie gras terrine with banana bread and corn “blini” with Nova Scotia lobster salad.
