Sweetcatch Poke: A List of NYC Restaurants Raising Funds to Feed Health Care Workers

Restaurants across the city have been mobilizing to feed health care workers on the frontline of the coronavirus epidemic and are accepting donations for the meals

Even though restaurants are struggling because of the ongoing shutdown on dining in due to COVID-19, many are raising funds to feed health care workers who are at the frontline of the battle. Many hospital workers are unable to leave to get food due to backbreaking shifts and the immense strain the virus has placed on the city’s hospitals. The number of patients admitted to the city’s hospitals will likely rise this month, putting even more pressure on the health care community, and the restaurant industry is mobilizing in greater number everyday to feed them.

Here is a list of restaurants and groups organizing bento boxes, pizzas, rice bowls and more, and all are accepting donations to ramp up their efforts.

Sweetcatch Poke: The poke bowl restaurant has donated 210 bowls to hospitals so far and is raising funds to donate more.
