Chef Joe Isidori brings his most personal project to date to life through Arthur & Sons, a West Village Italian eatery. The restaurant pays homage to the three generations of Isidori’s family in the New York hospitality industry through old-school New York Italian American red-sauce classics. The comforting menu consists of dishes such as prosciutto and shaved parmigiano reggiano and mussels fra diavolo. House specialties are labors of love, ranging from dishes such as Joe’s world-famous meatballs sub to a generations-old family recipe for gnocchi Sugo di Carne. Insider tip: Don’t miss the cocktail menu, which boasts one of the best Aperol spritzes in the city.
