Celebrity chef Andrew Zimmern sees good food as a common bond in a society “defining itself by things that divide us, rather than things that unite us.”

Zimmern, an Emmy and four-time James Beard Award-winning TV personality and chef, brought his fresh take to the headliner role of Tallahassee Community College’s Cleaver and Cork hosted by the TCC Foundation.

In the true spirit of the chef’s repertoire to travel far and wide to indulge in foods from different countries, cultures and coastlines, the foundation began the culinary celebration with a “Restaurant Week.” Foodies spent their nights traveling to different local participating restaurants to try specialties from oysters and champagne to tacos and tequila.
