Nadia G is young, funny, and can cook up a storm in 3-inch cherry stilettos. Hailed as the “Julia Child of the Net generation,” she is the creator and host of Cooking Channel’s hit series Nadia G’s Bitchin’ Kitchen, the original online design series, Sick Kitchens, and the new series, Bite This (Cooking Channel, July 2014). Hilarious, informative and deliciously demented, this stylish comedienne-chef is unlike any personality on TV. From cooking and comedy, to design and travel, Nadia G. embraces the funny side of everyday life situations, turning them into occasions worth celebrating – with great food and big laughs.

Nadia G Blazing Trails

An early pioneer of the online entertainment industry, Nadia’s engaged social media following primarily consists of the highly coveted young adult demographic.  Launched as a 3-minute mobile show, Nadia G’s Bitchin’ Kitchen quickly gained the attention of mainstream broadcast media. In 2010 it premiered as the brand defining series on Food Network Canada and Cooking Channel in the US, making it the first ever online lifestyle entertainment brand to successfully transition from the internet to prime time.

Set in a candy-colored kitchen decked out in animal print and leather, Bitchin’ Kitchen ushered in a new alternative to the standard cooking show with accessible, inspiring recipes to suit nearly any life situation – all peppered with her signature ‘Nadvice.’ Whipping up the perfect blend of food and humor, Nadia likes to say, “We showed the world that there were millions who weren’t being served by vanilla cooking shows. Millions who were hungry for double dark chocolate with fleur de sel.”

Beyond Bitchin’ Kitchen

In July, Cooking Channel added Nadia G’s new travel series, Bite This, to their primetime line-up. An unparalleled fusion of food, travel, and comedy, the show follows Nadia and the gang as they create an immersive story featuring the coolest chefs, hidden gems and signature flavors of the USA’s greatest cities.

Swapping her leopard-print apron with a hard hat, she also hosts the original online series Sick Kitchens — the most watched design show on ulive com. Known for the coolest, self-designed digs on her Bitchin’ Kitchen set, in Sick Kitchens, Nadia brings her design swagger on the road, tearing down walls and teaching viewers how to make their own kitchens “sick” along the way.

Bitchin’ Across the Globe

An instant hit across the US and Canada, Bitchin’ Kitchen was introduced to Food Network UK in 2013. After just a few weeks on-air, Nadia held the top rating spot for female talent on the network and is ranked third show overall. Nadia is also the author of two best-selling cookbooks: Cookin’ For Trouble (Ballantine) in which she shares recipes and cooking tips for home cooks. The book provides a creative menu, with chapters like (Dysfunctional) Family Pizza Night, Girl’s Night In and Hi-Speed Suppers.  Nadia G’s first book, The Bitchin’ Kitchen Cookbook: Rock Your Kitchen and Let the Boys Clean Up the Mess (skirt!, 2009), provides delectable recipes and hilarious anecdotes showing how even the most novice cooks can recreate Nadia’s bitchin’ cuisine.

Nadia G’s Homegrown Food Philosophy

Fearlessness, patience, creativity, and love are Nadia G’s secret ingredients and her kitchen code to success! Trained at the culinary institute of Hard Wooden Spoon Whacks, her passion for food and cooking came from growing up in a boisterous Italian family who never quite gave up the belief that Casalinga-style cuisine is the center of the universe.

In addition to being a chef-comedienne and design extraordinaire, Nadia G is a social media maven with her web platforms generating millions of interactions every month. When not appearing on national TV shows like Queen Latifah, The Talk, and the Today Show or racking up accolades such as “Outstanding Entertainer” and “Best Comedy” in the 2013 Taste Awards, “Most Addictive Reality Star” from the 2012 LOGO’s NewNowNext Awards and more, this Montreal-native enjoys working out her rock solid abs and writing comedy songs such as her viral hit, “Brooklyn Hipster Brunch.” As Nadia G says, “It’s all about making cooking fun and inspiring a new generation to rock their kitchen!”
